Film Review - Tremors
In our 6th film lecture we had to watch the 1990's horror/sci-fi movie, Tremors. An enjoyable monster movie with a likeable bunch of characters.
We had to look into B-Movies. B-Movies are low budget commercial motion pictures. B-movies have provided opportunities for many people, both those coming up in the profession and others who's career is slowly waning.
Tremors is a strong family friendly horror-comedy as well as a 'classic' movie. It performed very well for being a low budget movie and the film crew did very well to use the budget wisely so that they could create a good looking film. The cast (Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward) help to make the movie even more intriguing, as well as their supporting co-stars.
Tremors is a very good example of a low-budget movie that did surprisingly well considering the fact. Its a reminder of what movies were like before CGI and shows that it, even lacking such, can still be very enjoyable to watch alone or with others.
